The 7 Days of Justin has come to an end. His birthday was on Monday, August 18. In the 7 Days, we went out to dinner to BJ's with the OU Residents and had a great time. We had friends over for cake and ice cream. Justin had his favorite breakfast, dinner, and treat. He got to sleep in on several days. Thanks for the calls and birthday cards. Happy Birthday! We love and appreciate all he does for us!

Jerni vs. the cookie

I bought some toddler cookies at the store today for Jerni. I put her in her highchair and let her have it, while I put the groceries away. She loved it! She got so messy. If you know Joby at all, you know he doesn't like to get dirty at all. Good thing, Jerni has no problem with that.

Girls Night Out

This month we had Girls Night Out (GNO) at PF Chang's--my favorite!! We had tons of fun talking and talking and talking and eating dinner. I can't wait for next month's GNO at IHOP. We need a place that is open 24 hours.

Slobber Bucket

Jerni has gotten some new teeth in the past couple of days. She now has 4 teeth. Two bottom and two upper laterals. Her shirts stay damp from all the slobber, but she's still cute as a button.

3=Tricycle

Joby's birthday present was a tricycle. He got on his actual birthday. He doesn't quite get the whole pedal thing, but loves to go for rides. The past couple of days he has been pushing it around with different toys in the back basket. He is very adament about Jerni NOT riding or even touching his bike. We bought him a helmet with rockets on it and he is pretty good about wearing it, so far.

I'm Tree!

Joby is THREE! I can't believe it. Today is Joby's 3rd birthday. He is such an amazing little boy with all sorts of surprises for us. He loves cars, trains, and puzzles. Joby loves his Papa and always wants him when he's not around. He has a special way with Jerni and making her laugh. We just love him to pieces and are so proud to have him as our son. We had a great train party on Saturday with his friends (and some of ours, too!). We rented a Spider-man jumper and the kids love it, most of them. Some of the little ones were a little afraid of all the big kids having too much fun. Justin made a great bean bag toss into a train. Pizza and chips made for a great lunch with juice boxes and soda. No root beer, but it was still a party. Joby got lots of great loot from friends, grandparents, and parents. No party is complete without cake and ice cream. We had cupcakes and individual ice cream servings for everyone. Thanks to everyone for coming and sharing Joby's birthday with us.
