Pre-K Halloween Party

Joby's class had their Halloween party on Friday. They got to parade around the school in their costumes (only Pre-K and Kindergarten get to dress-up.)

First Field Trip

Joby's first field trip this year for Pre-K was the Train Trolley Tour of El Reno. The trolley broke the day before our field trip so we rode our bus everywhere. We did a hay maze, decorated pumpkins, had lunch in a red barn, toured the El Reno Fire Station, and shot water from a fire hose. Joby had lots of firsts that day:

This was a very crazy day. Joby had his field trip from about 8:30-1:30. Jerni went to Laurie's house (THANK YOU!) and my mom flew in from NC to visit at 12:30.

Pumpkin doughnut

Krispy Kreme had pumpkin shaped doughnuts for Halloween. Joby was super excited when he woke up one morning to find this for breakfast.

P is for Pumpkin

P is for Pumpkin Party! The kids had Fall Break last week and I thought it would be fun to have a pumpkin party. Everyone brought their own pumpkin and I had lots of paint and glitter glue. After painting pumpkins, we had snacks--Popcorn, Punch, Pretzels, and Pumpkin bread (all P's).

Tea Party

A couple of Monday's ago, Emma had an afternoon tea party/playdate at her house. Lexie made snickerdoodles, popcorn, and juice in teacups. The kids had lots of fun. Thanks!

Joby's Spa Day

Justin cut Joby's hair last weekend and then had his nails trimmed. What a pampered little boy! It's all in a days work in your underoos.

Day Out with Thomas 2009

The kids and I went to Day Out with Thomas at the Oklahoma Railway Museum on Friday. It was beautiful weather to be outside.

We had so much fun. The conductor was eating lunch at the same table we were and said that he can always tell a satisfied customer...they're either screaming crying or passed out asleep leaving. Thankfully, we didn't have either, but were still fully satisfied with our day.

Charlie the Cheetah

On Friday, Joby brought home Charlie the Cheetah from school for the weekend. The teacher sends Charlie home with someone that has made good choices all week. Charlie quickly became a member of our family. He had some popcorn with us at snack time, went to Joby's favorite restaurant-Pei Wei, went to Aiden's birthday party, slept with Joby, and was loved by Joby and Jerni (translation-beaten, flipped, thrown, jumped on...) Joby was very excited because this was the first time Charlie started making his rounds with the kids at their homes. Justin liked it because he knew there were no one else's germs on Charlie. Joby and I scrapbooked a page for Charlie's notebook, last night of all the fun things they did together over the weekend.

Snug as a Bug

Joby and Jerni love dragging out their pillows and blankets to the living room. I'm in charge of making them snug as a bug in a rug over and over and over...

Christmas Carol Train Tour

On Friday night, we went to the Christmas Carol Train Tour downtown with the Brewer family. The kids had lots of fun going in the train cars to see how the movie was made. It was super hot outside while waiting to get a 3-D glimpse of Jim Carrey's movie-A Christmas Carol, coming out in November. Joby got so scared when we went to see the 3-D preview, I had to walk out with him. Then, Jerni got upset because I left, so Justin followed behind Joby and myself with Jerni. All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Joby's 1st Day of Pre-K

Today was Joby's first day of Pre-K! He goes Monday-Friday from 8:30-11:00 and he is in Mrs. Zerby's class with 15 boys and 5 girls. Justin and I can't believe that we have a child in school; it's crazy!!
