The kids and I went to the Asheboro Zoo the other day. It's only about 45 minutes from our house. It's huge! They have two sides-North America and Africa. We only made to the North America side before it was time to go home. We had a great time and bought a family pass to go again soon, before it gets too hot. They have lots of playgrounds throughout and a free tram to take you to and from the different sides.
We saw lots of animals; our favorites were:
The polar bear. He never did move, but I thought the sign was pretty funny.
A polar bear's home during hibernation.
Jerni kept asking, "Who's bigger?" Apparently, she has a big ego!
The crocodiles. Joby took this picture. He thought it was so funny that all we could see was the crocodile's booty tail.
