The Graduate

Joby is a graduate from preschool. His preschool class has finished for the summer and we had a ceremony yesterday at Harvest Hills Park. We ate cookies, popsicles, and pizza (in that order, too). The kids had lots of fun playing and being blown around by the wind. His preschool class will start again in August for round 2 of the ABC's.

Becca brought this ball for the kids to play with, but once Joby started playing with it, he wouldn't give it up. He kicked the ball around for most of the time.

Jerni and I enjoying the nice windy weather.

It's about 10:30 am and the kids were already having dessert.

Then about 11:30, we had lunch.

The preschool class.

Sweet Joby Boy

Just patiently waiting to go to bed.

Big Boy Bed

Joby is now free from his bars! We put him in a toddler bed over the weekend and he loves it. He makes sure you know the crib is now Jerni's and not his. He has had no trouble transitioning and has yet to get out until you come in to get him.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We all have our little piece of heaven. For me, it's chocolate. For Justin, it's watching a football game--with the Panthers winning. For Joby, it's playing outside in the dirt. He played in the little dirt pile for several hours. It was such a beautiful day.

Monkeying Around

We were sitting outside yesterday enjoying the nice weather. I put Jerni's chair outside for her to get some fresh air. She was playing quietly and I noticed her using her hands and feet to get the full experience of the chair.

Cavity free Chompers

Joby went to the dentist today for the first time. He went to Smile Zone in South OKC. I highly recommend it. The staff was great and Joby loved the rocket theme. They brushed his teeth, gave him flouride, and counted his teeth. He did much better than I was anticipating. While, I was filling out the paperwork, I gave him a new train--James. I thought this would distract him he was having his teeth looked at. He fought a little bit, but what 2 year doesn't?

Too relaxed...

Justin gave Joby a bath last night. Joby started yelling, "No, no, no!" So, Justin rushes in to see that Joby has gone #2 in the bathtub. Joby is freaked out by the floaties around him. Justin gets Joby out, cleans the tub, refills the water, and attempts to put Joby back in to bathe him. Joby wasn't going back in. Justin finally gets him to get back in so he can clean him off. Apparently, Joby was very comfortable in the bathtub and felt like going #2.

This is Joby while Justin was cleaning the bathtub.

Jumpin' Jerni

This is Jerni's newest toy. She loves to sit in it and Joby loves to spin at the toys for her. She gets a big kick out of it!

Cheeeeeese

Any time you take a picture of Jerni, Joby says, "Cheese." He wants to be included, too.

Roley Poley

Jerni started to roll over on her 4 month birthday, but of course every time I get the camera out to take a picture she stops. So, this is a picture of her before she rolled. She rolls over, but hasn't quite figured out how to get her arm out from under her belly.

Here I come to save the day!

Justin and Joby having fun after bath with hooded towels. FYI-Joby insisted on wearing Jerni's towel.

Superhero Joby-down for the count.

Going, Going, Gone...

Jerni is quite the little mover these days. She likes to have her socks off and digs her little fat feet into the floor. She scoots backwards really well.

Starts here on the blanket.

Ends up way off the blanket.
