My Girls

My sweet and dear friend, Lexie, made these super cute shirts for the girls. Don't they look great! Thank you Lexie!

Jillian Grace Olsen

Introducing...

Jillian Grace Olsen! Born September 16 at 10:17 am weighing in at 8 lb. 3 oz. and 21.5 in. long.

I'm a little embarrassed to put this picture on here, but after having natural birth (which was NOT planned) in only 20 minutes after arriving at the hospital, I'm come to terms with this picture. This was taken a few seconds after she was born. I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience.

This was taken a few minutes after Jillian was born. I was much happier and excited for that process to be over!

Joby's Playing Baseball

Joby is playing baseball! He has great coaches that are so patient and kind with all the kids. Joby loves it!

His uniform! The shirt is way too big, but he doesn't seem to care.

Getting ready for the ball.

Justin's First day of Work

Justin's first day of work at our Southern Pines office. We are so proud of Justin and Jase for all their hard work. We are so excited to have our own offices!

Joby's First Day of Kindergarten

Can it be possible for Joby to really be in kindergarten already?

Yes!

Isn't She so Cute?!

Jerni is becoming quite the big girl. She is now potty trained. She, also, has one of the coolest personalities. She is so funny and fun to be around, but be careful, she can and will turn on you in a flash. We love her so much and are so proud to have her in our growing family.

Joby's Birthday

For Joby's birthday, we went to Marbles Museum in Raleigh and then for his dinner of choice, we went to Pei Wei. Marbles Museum is a kids museum, where everything is hands on. There's a post office to put away mail and packages, a grocery store with food and shopping carts, a huge train table, dress-up, build your own cars and race them against other kids, etc.

He loves trains!

She loves pink!

They love each other!

Hang 10!

Surfer dude.

Happy Birthday, Joby!

Joby's 5th Birthday

Happy Birthday, Joby! I can't believe our little boy is now 5! Joby is such a sweet, loving little boy. We are so blessed to have him as our first child. This year he wanted a Tonka party.

The birthday boy!

This amazing cake was made by my mom. Thanks Mom!!

One of the stations. The kids got to decorate their hard hat.

Thanks so much to everyone who came and helped up celebrate Joby's 5th birthday!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the world's greatest dad! We love you and are so grateful for all that you do for us.

Jumperine

We (the kids and I) went to a birthday party on Saturday for my 2 little cousins. They had a bounce house, but Joby calls it a 'Jumperine.' It was like 100 degrees outside. My mom took these shots of the kids jumping.

Family Photos

Our growing family!

The grandkids (minus Jersi and Kaleb).

The whole gang (minus Jeff, Jason, Britta, Jersi, Micah, Julie, and Kaleb) at the Olsen Homestead.

Olsen Olympics

This year for Memorial weekend, we headed up to Roanoke, VA for Olsen Olympics. We had opening ceremonies with Jerni bringing in the torch (no picture available).

Each family had a flag and a team color. Our team color was light blue.

Miserably hot and humid at 9:30am.

Justin throwing the javelin.

Justin participating in shot put.

Jacey and Jerni at the swim park having a blast!

Closing ceremonies handing out medal to all the winners!

We had a great time and want to say thank you to everyone!

iPod

Jerni's new obession:

She loves to play on Justin's iPod. He's put a lot of kids educational games on there for them. Her favorite is 'Animal Matching.'

Should I Be Worried?

Oh So Sweet

Singing the theme song to Dora the Explorer as loud as they can!

Photo Shoot

In our immediate surrounding area there are approx. 40+ golf courses and we live on one of them. This is what we woke up to one morning in our backyard:

This is Jeff Brehaut (he's on the Nationwide Tour) shooting a commercial for Southern Company Electricity. They were so cool. We walked over to see what was going on and who it was. They invited us to have lunch with them and showed us around a little bit. Joby was so excited!

Sleeping Beauty

Two things about our Sleeping Beauty:
1. She is purely heaven sent!
2. She is going to be a great mother!

Asheboro Zoo

The kids and I went to the Asheboro Zoo the other day. It's only about 45 minutes from our house. It's huge! They have two sides-North America and Africa. We only made to the North America side before it was time to go home. We had a great time and bought a family pass to go again soon, before it gets too hot. They have lots of playgrounds throughout and a free tram to take you to and from the different sides.
We saw lots of animals; our favorites were:

The polar bear. He never did move, but I thought the sign was pretty funny.

A polar bear's home during hibernation.

Jerni kept asking, "Who's bigger?" Apparently, she has a big ego!

The crocodiles. Joby took this picture. He thought it was so funny that all we could see was the crocodile's booty tail.

Turtle on the Tenth

We live between the end of hole #10 and the beginning of hole #11. This is what we found one day outside our back door:

A huge turtle!
