Fire Station Tour

Today we went to the fire station for a little tour of the fire trucks. The kids had lots of fun looking at all the different trucks and hoses.

Edmond Historical Society Museum

Last week, we went to this great museum in Edmond. It's called the Edmond Historical Society Museum. In my mind it doesn't scream--WELCOME KIDS! But it was great. It's a western theme with a country store, a jail, dress-up, a train table, and much more.

My first and last time in jail!

Fun in the Sun

Lexie and I have been trading Friday's for a Mother's Day Out. I dropped the kids off at Lexie's and ran my errands. When I picked them up a little later, Joby told me he went swimming in Emma's shorts. They had lots of fun in their impromptu swimwear.

Happy 4th Birthday, Joby!

Happy Birthday, Joby! Justin and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter boy to be our first child. Joby has so many amazing qualities. We had a Spider-man party for him on Saturday at the park. Lots of fun, food, and friends.

I thought I'd recap Joby's welcoming to the world:

I had no idea I was already 8 cm dilated when we arrived at the hospital. I look panic because I thought I wasn't going to be able to get an epidural, but I did.

Proud new parents!

Sprinkler Fun

Justin mowed the yard on Saturday and it was HOT! He turned the sprinkler on to water the grass and thought the kids and he would love to jump over the sprinkler while I made dinner. They had lots of fun and I got to make dinner in peace and quiet.

Jerni didn't want to touch the grass, so Justin carried her.

Batman

Joby, I mean Batman, is ready for bed!
