First Day of Preschool

Today was Joby's first day of Preschool. A few of us Mom's get together to do a home school co-op preschool. Joby is the only boy in his class of 5. Today was the letter A and number 1. I think it's going to be a great year!

Bend it Like Olsen!

Joby had his first practice on Friday and first game today. Coach Becca did a GREAT job with handling the 6 kids. Practice went okay because each kid had their own ball. The game today was a different story. Joby ran off the field about 20 times crying/whining because he fell, he was tired, he needed a snack/drink, someone took the ball, and/or all the above. The kids were running up and down the field, sometimes without the ball, chasing each other.

At practice, getting a pep talk from Coach Becca and learning some rules of soccer.

Made his 1st goal.

Yes, he wore the jersey the whole game and didn't complain once!

This is only one of about twenty times, he came crying off the field during the game.

Joby kicking the ball towards the goal.

UPDATES!

Just a couple of updates:
1. Jerni is now a crawler. She just decided on Wednesday to give a real try and now she's unstoppable. She is 9 months old.
2. Joby will let us brush his teeth with him standing up and not between our legs with his head in our crotch. This is a big accomplishment for him. We've been strapping him down for about 2 years; he just turned 3.
3. Justin and I are officially ready for the Olsen Cruise in December. We've purchased our plane tickets, made arrangements for our kids, and have the okay from Justin's director (this was the big deal).

Labor Day Fun

Justin didn't have school yesterday, so we took full advantage of his day off. We ran errands, went to lunch, mowed the yard, cleaned up some of the house, went bowling, and had a BBQ. We went bowling with Spencer, Lexie, and their kids. Then had a BBQ with Spencer, Stephanie, and their daughter. We had lots of fun and good times with everyone.

Joby and Emma having a snack, waiting their turns. Sometimes not so patiently.

Jerni thinks it's funny to bite my nose these days.

Joby likes to do it all himself.

Way to go!!

Nothing Gets People Like "FREE"

On Labor Day, if you went in to Chick-fil-A wearing any sports logo, you got a free 3 piece chicken strip. So, nothing gets people motivated like "free." Off we go.

Joby wanted to wear Justin's BYU hat. Justin had Joby saying, "Cougar Jaws! Cougar Jaws!" all the way to the restaurant with his arms and everything. Of course, once we got there he didn't want to wear the hat anymore.

Go UNC!

A Peaceful Moment

Jerni was playing yesterday morning so quietly in Joby's room. He actually let her play with some of his toys without freaking out. I guess it helped that he was watching a show in the living room.

She's just so darn cute!

Good Morning!

The kids were just so happy one morning, we had to take a picture.
